America vs. Greece

America and Greece are both beautiful countries but I have noticed many differences since I've been here. Like us, they wear stylish jeans and comfortable t shirts for casual wear. They also follow European wear and Italian designers. Thankfully, my parents can speak both English and Greek and they have taught me a lot, so I can understand most of what my family says. Just like at home, elegant dining out has become popular. The first nine years of school are required and the next 3 to 4 are optional. Almost 98 percent of Greeks are Orthodox Christians, 1 percent Muslim, and very few Jews and Roman Catholics. Life in Greece is generally very calm. There are very low theft and crime rates.
