Religion, Transportation, and Schools

Religion here in Switzerland has no country-wide state religion, though most of the cantons recognize official churches in all cases including the Catholic Church and the Swiss Reformed Church. Christianity is the predominant religion of Switzerland by about 80%. The rest of the religion revolves around jewish and islam which has a very low percent of people following it. Minority groups include Hinduism, and Buddhism. Transportation usually is by train because of its accesability and how it's convieniant to others. For example: The airport in zurich as trains coming through it to carry people to different locations throughout the city and other cantons. A canton is a province or small section of authority which as power to decide rules over its area. Cars here are found, but people normally on a day to day life use a bus for public transport. It's more common as it goes through the city areas. Schools here are more or less private schools and I am currently in the ninth grade learning a language called english. English is taught in schools, but some schools teach it at different grades depending on the cantons choice. School is cool in my opinion because I get to learn new stuff and my friends are nice. Overall, schools systems here are relatively close to each canton and people attend different schools, but the majority come to private as stated above. I can't wait to tell more about this country. Until then, Sincerely Simon from Switzerland.
