Switzerland Food, People, and Economy

Switerzerland is known for there chocolates, cheeses, and numerous others items that tourists will come for. Despite this, Switzerland has nearly 7.8 million people living here, all different types of background in culture that they originally brought here long ago. More than 75% of the population lives in the central plain, which stretches between the Alps and the Jura Mountains and from Geneva in the southwest to the Rhine River and Lake Constance in the northeast. Resident foreigners and temporary foreign workers make up about 22% of the population. The rest of the people are of minority groups. Besides that, Switzerland consistently ranks high on quality of life. These include per capita income which ranks high comparing other nations, insurance coverage, and quality of available health care. Despite a lack of natural resources, Switzerland is one of the world's prosperous nations. Trade has been the key to success in Switzerland. The country is dependent upon export markets to generate income while dependent upon imports for raw materials and to expand the range of goods and services available in the country. This basically concludes this review of my countery thus far. See you soon. Simon.
