Hi, my name is Sara (which it's not surprising; it's one of the most popular names here) and I have lived in Liechtenstein my entire life. I am Roman Catholic and my native language is German and I am one of the nearly 35,000 people that live here. My country is small, but it is nice to live here. Versus a lot of other places, however, we boast our strong economy even though we don't have a lot of natural resources. We live with wealth and education, and illiteracy and poverty are at very low rates. I am currently studying in hospitality and tourism. I am graduating from school in just one years. I'm studying at Universitat Liechtenstein (the university of Liechtenstein), which is in my hometown: Vaduz. (You can see it on the map I've posted - it's the town in the teal-ish color). I've been assigned a project about culture; I have to show off my own country to foreigners. It's part of what I need to graduate, so I will be talking to you soon about Liechtenstein's own culture!
Interesting post! Sounds like a very interesting country and I look forward to learning more.
ReplyDeleteYour country is very intriging and the map is very decriptive. I too am interested in this country. The country appears to be very unique in its own way.
