Hey, Alegra again. Ferrara, Italy has amazing food, Some of the popular variations are ribbon-shaped pastas in the northern region of Italy. While the southern part excels in macaroni with tomato sauce. Risotto, a rice dish with vegetables and all time favorite Pizza is much loved food of Italy. Wine is served with every meal other than breakfast. We also have a delicious virility's of desserts such as the Tiramisu. Tiramisu is a layered Italian cake. This dessert is made with alternating layers of lady finger cookies soaked in espresso and a mixture of mascarpone, egg yolks, rum and sugar. The dessert is topped off with cocoa powder. Another excellent dessert are the Pizzelle cookies. This no other cookies, they are thin and light. The cookie dough is pressed into a pizzelle iron, which is similar to a waffle iron. This Italian dessert has a light anise flavor. The cookies are sprinkled with powdered sugar. Mmmmm, delicious.
