Hej, fellow bloggers. Hej is the Danish word for hello. I have been so busy with wedding planning that I have not had time to blog about Copenhagen, Denmark. Today, I will tell you about their different food that they serve in Denmark. For breakfast, they eat a lot of different breads, cold meats, and cheeses. They also eat honey, jam, and some small amounts of chocolate. Next, they eat soft-boiled eggs and cereals. You would not find eggs and bacon at a Danish table. Their hotels sometimes offer them. Bacon is imported from the United Kingdom. For lunch, they eat kind of like Americans. Most of the people eat their lunch at their work. They have a cafeteria there or they bring a packed lunch. Some of the things that they eat for lunch is different sandwiches, cold meat, and fruits. For dinner, they love inviting people over to their houses. We went over to one of my friend's houses and they were so excited to have my fiance and me. They eat a four course dinner. They eat a lot of fish and meat in their main dishes. Finally, for dessert, their desserts are amazing. They have ice cream, pancakes, rice pudding (eaten around the Christmas holiday), and Apple Charlotte. Tomorrow, I will blog about some of the holidays they have in Denmark. I have to go to a cake tasting with my finace. I still have lots to do with planning. We are also excited to get married too. See you next time!!!!!
