When a person goes to Italy, they may find out quickly that soccor is by far one of the most popular, if not the most popular sport in the area. The National Team of Italy (NTI), has won more World Cups than any other country in the world. The second most popular sport in Italy is one of the most enjoyed and most watched on television, football. The Italian Football Team (IFT) is the second most successful national football team in the world. Apart from Soccer and Football, Water Polo is another popular sport in Italy. You have to both mentally and physically strong to play this game. Apart from all these sports that I have listed, the Winter Olympics in Italy have been the most enjoyed and watched in the world. Italy is filled with many sports and games that may bring many people to believe that it is known for both sports and games.
